I will list here, politicians who are standing in the way of passing this historical bill, and their political contributions.
As I note its opposers, I will list their contributors here:
1. Mitch McConnell - Top Republican in the Senate. Major opponent of the Obama Healthcare plan. Let’s see who funds him:

Let’s examine this closely:
Top contributor, a healthcare corporation, then a major bank. Also, Peabody Energy is a major contributor, and also note that UST is a tobacco company, a spin off Phillip Morris (now known as Altrea). This is where this man’s loyalty lies.
Also, take a closer look at the top industries: banks, lawyers, real estate, and interestingly enough retired people (less than 1 Mill) and at the bottom of the 5 is “health professionals”, which is a blend of various health care-related professions. I wouldn’t be surprised if a portion of these are lobbyists pushing for their “healthcare” companies.
Mitch McConnell is compromised at the tune of a few million dollars with various industries that will benefit from keeping the status quo.

SUPPORTING HEALTHCARE REFORM:
NANCY PELOSI (D)
Speaker of the House

Nancy Pelosi contributors
What a major difference seeing the amounts of money Nancy Pelosi–as a Democrat– gets ($10k at most for the most part–with one exception), compared to the hundreds of thousands Republicans get from single sources, consistently.
Speaker Pelosi’s donors contribute smaller amounts, so she has many more. What that means is that she CAN afford to say to NO to special interest groups, because the donations remain at 10K at most. This is something we don’t see with the Republicans and their donors –as depicted above. Imagine Mitch McConnell (top Republican) say no to Kindred Healthcare or UBS.

Also notice that most of her donations come from non-corporations. I will continue to post here, as I look them up.
